Summer? Sorted.

Summer time in Britain gets treated like a celebrity. The occurrence is rare and novel enough for people to get so excited and act irrationally over something that has been hyped up for about 9 months of the year, only for people to start complaining that “it’s too much, I’m bored of it now, and it’s making me look bad.”
It’s safe to say that the British Isles doesn’t experience enough sun and warmth for people to get used to it, we either underestimate the strength of the heat and fear to tread in flip flops or anything but ankle boots, or we think that maybe the weather will meet the standards of our favourite holiday destinations and dress in bikinis and shades, whilst walking bare foot with corn rows in our hair.
The poetic statement of the weather changing our mood, is to an extent true. Despite studies done to prove otherwise, our climate has more of an affect on us than we’d perhaps be willing to believe. Winter is dark and depressing, Summer is bright and brilliant.
We chatted to Tracey Malone, founder of The Lubatti Skincare range about how she goes about looking after her skin as the weather gets warmer:
“As always, cleanser, toner and moisturiser are vital for my skin as it gets very dry in the summertime. Following these simple 3 steps will ensure your skin stays fresh, hydrated and nourished in drier weather. “
“Lubatti’s delicately scented bath oils and body lotions are luxurious and give me that ‘pampered’ feeling – they also help me wind down and relax on a perfect Summer’s evening. .
“Another great product for Summer is Lubatti’s Sparkling Eye Gel, as it feels so refreshing – once applied, my eyes feel and look more awake and refreshed! My top tip would be to keep it in the fridge for those hazy Summer days”
“I would also recommend that after showering, apply a rich (yet light) moisturiser to all the places you’ve been brushing, then use Lubatti’s Anti-Cellulite Oil on problem areas such as thighs and buttocks. Massaging slowly into damp skin in upward, circular movements allows the skin to fully absorb the product so you reap the benefits of the ingredients. It will be extra time well spent when you see how much healthier your skin looks!”
