Our hands are our principal means to physically influence and control our surroundings. Our fingertips are one of the most sensitive parts of our body and this is due to a dense number of nerve endings; making our hands a plentiful source of tactile response.
Whether we're the active go get 'em type of person or the laid back and relaxed, slightly more passive type, the literal hands-on approach is apparent in both persons. Our hands are taken for granted. Skilled hands have provided us with painters, designers, sculptors, pianists, violinists, guitarists, drummers, gymnasts, tennis players, racing car drivers, surgeons, midwives, masseuses, dentists, teachers, taxi-drivers, bus drivers, thrill seekers, hitch-hikers, shop assistants, dog walkers, channel flickers, internet surfers, soft touches from a mother, discipline from a father, bruises from a sibling, an increased heart rate from a lover and comfort from a friend. And we'd have great difficulty giving a round of applause to all these occupations without our five fingered friends.
Through every action in every season our hands face potential damage. Winter weather can be particularly unkind to the condition of our hands, often causing dry, cracked and chapped skin which is painful and unpleasant to both touch and be touched by. Caused by lack of moisture – the dry winter air will suck it all from your skin – people who spend long periods of time outdoors will suffer due to the lack of control in their surrounding environment.
But even those who prefer to run their indoor establishments with an iron fist can do only so much to wish that their hands could be as withstanding as one of the most common transition metals. Artificial heating sources may keep you warm but they also won't hesitate to reduce your moisture levels. Our sensitive hands need adequate care if we want to continue doing the various, increasingly hard-grafting or even those seemingly menial activities which we've adapted to over generations. Despite being so frequently involved in our everyday activities, they are still very much forgotten when it comes to another daily hands-on routine – our beauty one. We may use them to care for our hair, bodies and faces but we neglect to ensure that our frequently active features are cared for themselves.
Unfortunately, on our bodies, these gift-giving, thigh slapping, head-scratching, tear-wiping, insect swatting, page-turning, ring-wearing, high-fiving, hair-pulling, hair-stroking, general socialising tools are the first to show signs of aging. Which is unsurprising with all the hard work they have to deliver!
Infused with Vitamin E and Calendula, Lubatti's Luxurious Hand Cream is the perfect treatment for your hands. If dryness is your problem, the ingredients are ideal for moisturising and hydrating your hands (Vitamin E helps to prevent water escaping from your skin). If ageing is your concern, it contains one of the most powerful antioxidants, and so will protect your hands from premature ageing. The other important ingredient is Calendula, which has calming properties and helps to relieve dryness and redness around the knuckles - it also helps to strengthen nails.
So, all in all, with its ultra creamy texture and fantastic benefits, Lubatti’s Luxurious Hand Cream is a little tube of wonder for our five fingered friends.
