Cool Hydration

Water is everywhere. Even in the Summertime, we still get showers and thunderstorms. Water comes in the form of sweat, spit, tears. It wakes us up in the shower and relaxes us when we bathe, and we wash, cook and clean with it. In every day and in every season in this country, water is present because it is essential. Water features in Science, Art, Poetry, Sports and more.
Our bodies are made up of around 70% water and it is essential for nearly all physiological functions. Because we’ll inevitably be sweating more in the Summer months, it means we’re losing more water from our bodies. It’s essential to replace the fluid that we lose because water is involved in the most important roles of our body such as maintaining body temperature (vital so that we don’t overheat in hot temperatures), metabolising body fat, aiding digestion, transporting nutrients and flushing out all the toxins inside us - which will promote clearer and healthier looking skin, to ensure it looks good all year round! Your body needs water, even if you don’t feel thirsty.
People who don’t drink enough water will complain about more health and beauty problems than those people who manage to drink up to 2 litres of water every day. Lack of energy, constant tiredness or fatigue, frequent headaches, poor concentration, bloating, weight gain, bad skin and bad breath can all be ailments of not drinking enough water on a day to day basis. Considering there is so much of it around and we are lucky to have easy access to it, there is very little excuse to be complaining of symptoms we can alleviate with the turn of a tap.
Our skin can be kept hydrated by drinking plenty of fluid (preferably water) and by moisturising at least twice a day to keep our skin healthy and radiant looking. Keeping our bodies hydrated is paramount to our health and our looks.
With more exposure to the sun, our skin can become dry and uncomfortable. Moisturising daily will ensure that any flaky or scaly skin from sun exposure can be healed and ensure that we look glowing rather than burnt.
Lubatti’s moisturisers for the face and body are rich in vitamins and essential nutrients, which is why your skin will feel so silky, soft, youthful and fresh after applying them. Skin hydration from the inside and out is key to keeping skin looking younger, fresher and happier. Keep hydrated and stay beautiful!
